A JUMPING MONSTER
During my studies in multimedia production we were tasked with creating a jumping monster in Blender and integrating it in a Unity project.
Meet Jerry the Dinosaur. Jerry is the result of my third attempt to create a monster in Blender using sculpting, retopology and rigging techniques. The Unity project was set up by our professors, so I don’t take any credit for that. I hope you still enjoy playing the little game at the bottom of the page :)
THE FINAL RESULT
This project explores my first full character pipeline in Blender, focusing on sculpting, retopology, and rigging. After early failures with poor topology, I refined my workflow and created a stylized dinosaur character, Jerry, using a sculpt to retopology approach that helped me rig and animate the little dinosaur succesfully. I then textured and exported the model to Unity, overcoming some integration issues such as bone hierarchy and scaling. The final result is published on itch.io.
